I have been a competitive athlete my whole life but when I decided to take on the Boston Marathon
as my fist Marathon I decided get the help of Coach Freddie. I contacted Freddie to help me in the last
4 months of training and he immediately set up a weekly training schedule for me. Over the period of the four months he offered
me much more assistance than just a schedule. He met me for workouts, offered nutrition advice, referred me to sports therapists,
and taught me proper hydration and gel usage. I definitely would not have been as prepared for the Boston without Freddie’s
help nor would I have been able to finish my first marathon in a time of 4:16! Thank you Freddie!

"I can't thank you enough for helping me accomplish
my Ironman 70.3 goal! You are an awesome coach and I wouldn't have had such a successful race without you.
I really appreciate all your help, expertise, and advice. I really enjoyed working with you and had so much fun, too!
Thank you so much for everything! What an awesome race experience"! Katherine B., (Sarasota)
"I enlisted Freddie’s
coaching for my first Ironman. I casually mentioned that I was thinking of signing up for a Ironman Couer
d’Alene and he encouraged me to do it. He even told me when to sign up for the race to insure that
I got a spot before it sold out. That was a year before my actual event! Over
the next eight months Freddie helped lay the ground work for my training. When the time came to start my
“official” training, he set me up with a schedule and attended sessions with me. He helped
me to stop a nagging muscle from becoming a debilitating injury. He worked with me to find the right nutritional
balance during training. Freddie helped me to make the transition from a half-Ironman and marathoner to
an Ironman. On race day, Freddie was over 3,000 miles away, but I felt his presence.
When I packed the multiple gear bags required for the race, I knew just what to put in them. When
the race director offered the option of doing the race without the swim because of bad swim conditions, I didn’t hesitate
to jump in the water. I was confident. I knew where to position myself in the start.
I knew how to draft. I knew what to eat and when to eat it. I knew what speed to go
on the bike. I knew how to push on the run. Throughout all of this, Freddie also knew
how I was doing. He periodically checked in with my husband to chart my progress and advise him in what
to do to help me. It was a phemomenal experience and I truly believe that Freddie made that possible.
If I hadn’t been so confident with his coaching, I would have doubted my decision-making. In
an Ironman, you can’t hesitate or overthink, you need to go forward with a well-devised plan or you may not finish.
Freddie helped me get to the finish. Next year, I plan on having him help me get there faster.

"I’m thirty years old and I’ve never done anything athletic prior to
my daughter’s birth a year and a half ago. I started running to get in shape and shortly after came
across an article about triathlons. I knew right away that was what I wanted to do. I
did the Subaru Women’s super sprint in March of 2007, and as luck would have it my name got drawn for a slot in St.Anthony’s
Olympic Distance Triathlon in late April 2007. As I was debating with myself about doing it, I met Coach
Freddie. He believed in me from the start. He met with me to asses my fitness level
and developed a 4-week crash-course training plan with my limited abilities in mind. I don’t think
I would have had the courage to go on with my training without his constant support. Coach Freddie went
above and beyond to ensure that I stay focused. His expert advice and guidance, as well as his caring personality,
led me through to race day. I did it! I finished St. Anthony’s with just four
weeks of working with Coach Freddie! So go ahead, dream big, and Coach Freddie will help you in achieving
your goals!" Anna M. (Lithia, FL)
"I was 37 years old and had always wanted to try to do a
triathlon but it seemed impossible until I met Coach Freddie. He helped me with a training program that
allowed me to complete my first tri a little less than three months later. Since that time, Coach Freddie
has guided me through my training to the point where I will do my first half-ironman later this year. If you are
going to train, get a coach. If you live in the Tampa area, train with Coach Freddie". Gary C. (Tampa,
FL)
"Coach Freddie coached me through the 2007 Shamrock Marathon in Virginia
Beach. He designed a program that fit my fitness level and a tight 8 week training schedule. He was always there
with great advice, instruction and encouragement. Thanks to Coach Freddie I completed my first marathon much faster
than I thought I could and without injuries. I will definitely work with Coach Freddie on my next marathon."
Gerard S., Lithia, FL.
“Coach Freddie gave me invaluable running
knowledge, encouragement and confidence! His passion and enthusiasm is infectious! Coach Freddie personalized
a manageable and diverse training plan around my busy schedule. In January, I ran my first ½ marathon and met my goal
on a very difficult course. Many thanks and on to the marathon!” Jeff H. (Lithia, FL)
"Thank you so much for the swim clinic. I think
I am a pretty good swimmer but I learned SOOOO much" Jessica H., (Lithia, FL).
"I enjoyed your triathlon clinic on 2/10/07 very much!
I got alot out of it - especially with transition and nutrition prior to race day. Thanks again". Susan P.
(Lithia, FL.)
"Training with Coach Freddie was a really great experience for me.
As a working mother with two small children, I wasn’t sure how to make the most of my precious training time.
Between the group swimming clinic and the few one on one coaching sessions that I’ve spent training with Coach Freddie,
I’ve learned some key points that have really helped me focus. I now approach every workout
as a chance to really “go for it”. As a result, I’m performing better and having
a whole lot more fun in the process” (Megan R., Lithia, FL)
